Most roles within the healthcare sector would usually be required to obtain the Enhanced level of check for the purposes of working with vulnerable adults and /or children. There are a handful of roles where the Standard disclosure would be suitable but this must be factored into each organisation’s safeguarding policies and practices on a case by case basis.
